Beach House On-the-Dune, built

on the sand dune overlooking 4,5kms of pristine, white sandy beach, has beautiful sea and

beach views (180 degrees) across the whole of Brittannia Bay, with amazing sunsets and moonsets

over the sea.

Bordering on the green belt (sand-dune), this lovely beach house also has it's own indigenous garden and guests may see gerbils, mongoose, buck, tortoises and rock pigeons drink from several bird baths, as well as pretty sunbirds, long-tailed mousebirds and many more at the bird feeders!

It is beautiful and peaceful in nature and one gets a wonderful feeling of freedom and privacy there... but with quick access to the beach, the estate's own lighthouse, the 9 hole golf course and 3 different beaches!

"Almost an Island..."

The estate is situated on a peninsula with 3 different coastlines so it is almost an Island!

It is eco friendly so you will see no overhead electrical cables - everything is buried underground striving to conserve the wildlife (flora and fauna) in the area and Old English street lamps have been used for street lighting. The proof in the pudding is that you can still experience many buck, mongoose, owls, tortoises and much more wildlife there..... including the previously endangered Oystercatcher birds, Acacia Pied Barbets, Kestrels, Woodpeckers and Kingfishers amongst others.

Whales and dolphins swim in front of the house all year round, which is also at surfer's corner where the surfers surf ....

There is 24 hour security access control to the estate, with foot and vehicle patrols as well as sign in at the entrance gates...

The weather closely follows that of Vredendal further north, with temperatures ranging from 15 degrees in winter to 40 degrees in summer!

Wild flower season in Spring is from end July to mid-September, with the winter months being June and July.

Summer season is generally November to April, with May being particularly pleasant with warm days and cooler evenings.
